On or around December 19, 2025, the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS will make its closest approach to Earth!

3I / Atlas is an interstellar comet with a mysterious, complex coma and tail system, that is sunward !

Thus far 3I/Atlas has been observed morphing between 3 different colors of light !!!

3I/Atlas is an extremely old interstellar comet, estimated to be between 3 billion and 14 billion years old, likely making it older than our Solar System (4.6 billion years).
